TRIDENT SYSTEMS' COLLABORATION GATEWAY FEATURED IN LATEST
EDITION OF THE OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT CROSS-DOMAIN INVESTORY
LIST.
Fairfax, VA (PRWeb) September 5, 2007
--
Trident Systems (www.tridsys.com) reported today that its
Collaboration Gateway (CG) product is on the US Government’s
latest official list of approved cross-domain solutions that
are approved for use in the Intelligence Community and
Department of Defense.
“We’re proud that Collaboration Gateway has been included”
noted Nick Karangelen, Trident Systems’ founder and CEO.
“As part of the Cross-Domain Collaborative Information
Exchange solution, Collaboration Gateway provides live text
chat for users on differently-secured networks.” Text chat
proved to be a surprisingly useful tool throughout
operations in both Afghanistan and Iraq; however, the need
remains to protect information on differently-secured
networks, thus limiting the ability of users to “chat” with
others on different networks.
“With Collaboration Gateway, intelligence analysts,
operations planners, logistics folks - all can now
collaborate without re-organizing networks or other ‘work-arounds’,”
noted Collaboration Gateway architect Scott Thomas. “Plus,
our open approach to CG’s development means that we support
a broad range of chat clients, so users don’t have to
relearn their collaboration environment.”
The Collaboration Gateway program is developed and managed
from Trident’s Raleigh Research Center – Morrisville, NC –
and it is available immediately. Trident Systems
(www.tridsys.com) is a private veteran-owned small business
that has been providing hardware and software systems to
military and commercial clients since 1985. TSI supports
customers ranging from the United States Military Forces to
the New York Stock Exchange by harnessing emerging
technologies providing innovative affordable products and
services that consistently exceed customers' expectations.
