C4ISR-compliant,
iCID is one of our soldier systems that brings situation awareness to the
front lines. With iCID (Individual Combatant Identification),
soldiers' positions are reported automatically over an ad hoc
mesh network. iCID determines GPS position and sends it out
over the network. Any DISM device on the network immediately
displays the position of friendly forces. With biometric
identification, iCID also provides assurance that the position
is tied to a specific US or Coalition force member.
The complete system is
comprised of an iCID Pager, which communicates to DISM (Digital
Intelligence Situation Mapboard). DISM displays the location of
all iCID Pagers on any military CADRG/DFAD map. The DISM
operator can query any iCID Pager to determine its identity, or
require its user to verify their identity via the iCID Pager's
fingerprint scanner. And because it's DISM, iCID supports
MIL-STD-2525B and NATO Standardized Agreements (STANAG). Using
an advanced, "ad hoc" mesh network, iCID Pagers stay in touch
dynamically, and can automatically join existing networks. |

Product Features
Flexible Biometric Management
The iCID Pager can
store up to 10 fingerprint templates in its storage memory.
This storage memory is non-volatile, so fingerprint
templates will not be deleted if the iCID Pager loses
power. The result? Thanks to our innovative ID
systems, commanders now know where each of their
soldiers are.
Flexible Reporting Features
iCID will
report its position based on time between reports,
adjustable distance traveled, or both. If no reporting is
desired the location reporting feature can be disabled. |
