Radio Interoperability & Tactical Communications

Trident’s Integrated C4I Systems business unit is a leader in development and deployment of handheld radio interoperability devices for coalition and domestic use, as well as shipboard qualified wireless access points.

Mini-Secure Communications Controller (Mini-SCCv1.1)

This latest generation tactical voice bridge empowers warfighters to simultaneously cross-connect audio between multiple dissimilar radio types, regardless of frequency or COMSEC.  The Mini-SCC supports radios ranging from commercial cell phones to the legacy and modern military radios, public safety radios, Voice-Over-IP (VoIP), push-to-talk and full duplex radios.  It offers flexible configuration, MIL-STD compliance, waterproof packaging, support for various batteries and power sources.

Secure Communications Controller (SCCv1.1)

This latest generation rack-mountable unit enables warfighters to simultaneously cross-connect audio and data between multiple dissimilar radio types ranging from commercial cell phones to the legacy and modern military radios, public safety radios, Voice-Over-IP (VoIP), push-to-talk and full duplex radios. It offers support for MIL-STD-1275 vehicle power or AC power, remote control of select US tactical radio settings, three-channel audio cross connection, and two channel simultaneous data cross connection.

Shipboard Wireless Access Point (WAP)

This ruggedized shipboard wireless access point provides FIPS 140 validated 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax adaptive wireless functionality that delivers performance, coverage, reliability and security (including Commercial National Security Algorithm Suite) required to enable secure wireless environments for DoD and Federal Government secure applications.  Accessories include Secure Wireless Mobility Controllers and Firewall security appliances.

Wide Area Surveillance Systems

For over 20 years, the Integrated C4I Systems business unit has developed, integrated and sustained integrated air/ground defense systems for protection of critical airspace and high valued assets.  Trident’s broad expertise spans development of integrated systems featuring sensors, radars, correlators, communications, cameras and processing devices for a comprehensive detection, identification and visualization of imminent threats.  Trident’s previous and on-going programs include design, development and sustainment of complete situational awareness systems, command centers, and electronic classrooms.  Trident has developed and currently sustains integrated air defense software systems in the National Capital Region.

Tactical Prognostics & Health Monitoring

The Integrated C4I Systems business unit’s tactical prognostics and health monitoring solutions provide automatic data collection and analysis for tactical platforms, enabling Condition Based Maintenance (CBM). Trident’s experience includes design, development and integration of predictive maintenance systems for a variety of tactical platforms across the DoD, including wheel vehicles, tracked vehicles, unmanned vehicles, artillery systems, and integrated sensor systems.  Trident’s technologies allow for a decrease in the time to repair a platform, increased visibility into the health of forward deployed platforms, increased specificity to support maintenance operations, and a reduction of repair cost and down-time, ultimately enhancing a platform’s operational availability while decreasing total ownership cost.
